compare the differencies between the education of Taiwan and that of America(Draft1)

It is no exaggeration to say that education of Taiwan is quite different from that of America. As far as I am concerned, firstly, the education of Taiwan is inflexible. The teachers in Taiwan always ask students to memorize something just for the tests while American teachers usually teach their students to comprehend the knowledge instead of just memorizing it. Additionally, owing to the traditional thing, it is impolite to confront your teachers when you do not agree what they say. On the contrary, American teachers are not afraid of being questioned and they are willing to talk with you. Thirdly, Taiwanese students seldom ask question, but American students are positive on asking questions. The education of Taiwan is not the same as that of America. As we see, American education is better that that of Taiwan. Therefore, I think we should learn its merits.

I like traveling(Draft two)

A frightening experience(Draft two)

I had a frightening experience when I was four years old. It happened on an otherwise ordinary Sunday. As usual, I was at the beach, playing with my cousins, while my father and uncle were fishing. I was so curious that I went near the ocean to enjoy the sound of it .All at once, I felt unbalanced and then slipped into the ocean. At first, I firmly believed that I could be saved; therefore, I struggled to grab everything around me, but in vain. Gradually, I lost my energy and became unconscious. At the same time, all of my memoryies began to emerge in my mind just as a video was playing. Without any energy, I immediately fell into a faint for quite a few minutes. Seeing that I was drowning, my uncle came to my aid and saved me at once. When I regained my consciousness, I found myself lying on the seashore with my family around. They continued asking me if I felt all right. Because I forgot what had happened, I looked at them doubtfully. After listening what they said, I finally realized that I was saved by my uncle . After this accident, my family have stopped me going to the beach for a long time. As a saying goes,"Once bitten twice shy." Now, I still try not to go near the ocean. It was so frightening an experience that I still remember it now.

Before entering the examination room, I met one of my classmates. I greeted her with a kind smile and then talked to her. We checked out our register numbers and found we were in the same examination room. After we got into the examination room, something strange happened. I discovered that I could not find my seat. Therefore, I asked the teacher to confirm if I was on the testee’s list. Yet, the teacher could not find my name on the list. She told me that my school did not register for me, so I was not allowed to attend the examination. I could not help crying loudly and finally fainted. All of a sudden, I was woken by this terrible nightmare. As a result, I cried for a long time and warned myself to pay more attention to the details of entrance examination. I felt thankful because it is this nightmare that reminds me of such an important thing.
