Computer and I (Draft one)

Computers play a more and more important role in modern life. They have been widely used throughout our life. As we know, we can use computers to buy products on the Internet. Therefore, we do not have to feel annoyed when we go shopping. Aside from shopping on the Internet, we can also find that computers can substitute the manpower and control the machines. For instance, many factories and companies employ computers to manage the product line instead of work force recently. In addition, we can discover that we are capable of getting abundant information which we do not know by using computers. People used to lean what happen from TV and newspaper before. Compared with the past, we can utilize computers to receive the information as well. Computers are widely used now, and people have relied on computers gradually. It goes without saying that we can not live without computers in the future.

Personally, I have a dislike for computers. Despite the advantages computers bring, I can not deny the weaknesses computers have. Firstly, computers do harm to our eyesight and irritate our eyes. It is pointed out that people who often play the computers are more likely to have poor eyesight than others who don’t usually play computers. Some experts even indicate that computers may decrease our IQ development and make us become clumsy. Secondly, many people use computers to commit the crimes which police are not aware of. Computers really cause a lot of social problems now. In my opinion, computers benefit us people a lot, but it may destroy us as well as our society someday.

Autobiography(Draft two)3.4

Like other students, I took the BCT(國中基測) after graduating from junior high school. My grades were not bad, and my classmates thought I would get into a senior high school. To their surprise, I chose Tainan Commercial Vocational senior which is famous for providing the best vocational training. I selected this school, for I want to learn some practical skills, and I am also interested in English. Thanks to the good curriculums and teachers this school offers, my English is greatly improve, and I become more interested in it. Therefore, I paid more attention to all the English competitions. I took part in National English Drama Competition when I was a second grader, and we got the No.5 prize .It makes me learn not only the beauty of language but also the meaning of drama ; moreover, it helps me build self-confidence. These precious experiences give me a colorful senior high life.
I am firmly determined to study Foreign Language after graduating from vocational school. Hopefully, I can be admitted to a good university to prove myself. I want to show others that vocational high school students can also make it. I know it will be difficult to accomplish it, but as the saying goes, ”Where there is a will, there is a way”. In addition, I plan to take Japanese as my elective courses after getting into a university. I think learning Japanese can strengthen my language ability. I deeply believe that I can have a good future by getting into a good university and learning foreign languages and practical skills.
