Febrary 17th Chinese New Year's Eve

Today is Chinese New Year's Eve. Dad , Mom, John and I went back to my grandma's home to get together with my grandparents. Entering the home, I saw a lot people welcome me. Uncles, aunts and cousins were busy preparing for the dinner. I felt so happy because it was lively here. Today’s dinner is hot pot which I love the most. When I was ready to eat pork, my dad told me to subside to eat pork because I am too fat. I was a little angry ; therefore, I planned to lose weight during the winter vacation. After dinner, the elders started giving red envelopes, and we all said Kung His Fa Tsai. I was cheerful because I get lots of money! At night , my cousins. asked me to play the cards , but I decline them .They said I am a “wet blanket”! Come on! I just wanted to sleep. At 12:00 p.m. I heard the firecrackers. I was angry and said, “Darn ! Now is midnight! Stop your stupid behavior.” We always celebrate Chinese New Year by setting the firecrackers. But some people are selfish because they always make noise during the night. I think the government should prohibit them.
